Electronic Signature Pads

Electronic signature pads are devices that allow a person to sign an electronic document with a handwritten signature. electronic signature pads usually have a LCD type screen, and a special ink less pen is used to sign the screen, creating an electronic copy of a person's signature. The advent of digital technology has led to a decrease in the use of hard copy paper documents, saving both time as well as precious natural resources. Instead of printing out and signing forms which must then be mailed, filed, stored, or copied, electronic forms are now widely used, which reduce clutter and are easily able to be stored and retrieved. electronic signature pads have now begun to replace the standard printed contract or receipt, and have a wide variety of uses. Grocery stores, department stores, and other retailers often use electronic signature pads to record signatures for purchases. Banks, medical facilities, drivers license offices, and pharmacies also regularly use electronic signature pads on a daily basis. Contracts may be signed using electronic signature pads as well, and the signature is legally just as valid as any signature signed in ink.
