Director of Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

Location: Pleasanton, CA

The Director of Search Marketing will play an integral leadership role in a fast growing company. This position will lead a team to develop and execute search optimization programs for ExpertHub's network of legal and medical websites. The Director should possess deep technical experience in driving organic search (SEO) traffic from all major search engines. This is both a strategic role and hands-on day-to-day management.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute SEO strategy for ExpertHub's network of websites
• Set traffic objectives and manage a marketing budget.
• Drive requirements for site architecture and link-building product features
• Research, analyze and perform strategic link building campaigns
• Develop and analyze key reports to track SEO performance.
• Manage traffic team and freelance contributors.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5-8 years in online marketing with at least 3 years in a senior SEO role.
• Proven track record in growing organic search traffic and developing SEO best practices
• Successful in working with social networking sites, vertical communities, and bloggers with knowledge and understanding of major players
• Strong attention to detail, excellent organization skills, and ability to manage multiple projects/responsibilities
• Self-starter, with ability to consistently meet and exceed objectives
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Experience with technical aspects of search engines
• BS or BA degree; Masters preferred

SEO Manager

Location: Pleasanton, CA

The SEO Manager is responsible for the planning, analysis, and day-to-day execution of ExpertHub's SEO efforts. This person will work closely with product marketing, sales, and technology teams to grow traffic and sales across ExpertHub's network of websites.

Job Responsibilities

Qualifications

• 3+ years of online marketing experience

Experienced (Senior) OPS and IT Administrator/Engineer

POSITION SUMMARY

Experienced OPS and IT administrator/engineer will be a key member of the team supporting our new technology platform that helps millions of consumers connect with thousands of doctors, lawyers and financial advisors each month. You will be responsible for all our production operations, web farms, and internal corporate IT infrastructures administration, management, and support.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage, maintain and support the entire production / data center environment 24x7x365.
• Install and configure Linux-based systems for production and internal virtualized development and QA environment.
• Install software packages requested by the development team
• Resolve software related problems.
• Provide hands on support during deployments and assure all systems are ready and operational.
• Perform system backups and recovery.
• Monitor system configuration and ensure data integrity across both the production and internal environment.
• Provide on-call and 24/7 support for monitoring software
• Implement administration scripts to streamline production operation
• Perform DB, Network, Email performance tuning, administration, and management

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 3-5 years previous Linux System Administration experience with a consumer-facing internet and/or digital media company
• Experience maintaining servers: DNS, NFS, DHCP, LDAP, mail (e.g Postfix, Sendmail), VPN, FTP, HTTP, Virtualization (VMware) services preferred
• Experience on SQL database servers such as MySQL and PostgreSQL in a production environment
• Experience with open source administrative software (Nagio, Ganglia, syslog-ng, etc.)
• Experience with Windows server applications and tools (Exchange, AD, MS Office, etc.)
• An ability to troubleshoot various operating system (RHEL, Fedora, CentOS, Windows) configurations

PHP Developers will be utilizing the Drupal API to solve for business needs in creative and novel ways. REQUIREMENTS

Senior User Experience Designer

Location: Pleasanton, CA

The Senior User Experience Designer will be an integral member of the product marketing team to design and launch new product features for the ExpertHub Network of websites. This position will be responsible for the overall look and feel and usability.

Job Responsibilities

• Define effective user interfaces and interaction styles which result in improved usability and simplicity.
• Work with our team of product managers and web developers to create innovative design solutions.
• Develop and maintain design wireframes, mockups, specifications, and navigation maps.
• Collaborate with other UI and visual designers towards an effective and consistent visual look and feel and to improve the usability of existing web pages and product features

Candidate Requirements

• 5+ years of UI design experience in consumer focused web interaction and interface design.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite 3 applications including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Fireworks.
• Strong Knowledge of HTML, DHTML. XHTML, CSS, flash, ajax, flex and other web 2.0 technologies, and JavaScript
• Must be able to analyze business and functional requirements to make design decisions based on current usability standards/best practices.
